I purchased this about 30 years ago from Joyce Horn Antiques.
It is rather tall.
Used it for many year to display my French Quimper.
Downsizing and selling Quimper and this lovely piece.
It is from Normandy c 1890s per original purchase tag.
The French term vaisselier refers to a piece of furniture for storing and displaying china.
It comes from the French word “vaisselle” meaning dishes.
Lots of patina and made to display dishes, but could be used for other purposes.
Dimensions are 43" wide, 84" tall.
graduated shelving which ranges from 13" shelf on the bottom to 9" shelf with wooden strips to hold dishes.
Scalloped edge on side profile.
