The receipt, personally signed by Walt, is from when John messengered tickets and back stage passes to Walt during the tour of the decade 1975 with Chicago and The Beach Boys.

Attached to the frame is a piece of rough cedar wood from the walls of the Caribou Ranch Recording Studio, carved by John.
I rescued this cedar before it was hauled away for disposal.
I could not accept the fact that it was being thrown out.
I felt it held the vibe of all the music that was recorded there.
I only got what was being thrown away so there is a limited supply.
When it's gone, it's gone forever.

The recording studio in Nederland, Colorado was only operational from 1971-1985, but made music history around the world.
There was a fire in the studio in March of 1985, the owners never rebuilt.
