Job description The ideal candidate will have experience in the execution and delivery of multiple diverse projects that roll up into high visibility/high impact programs that support business strategies with strong skills in developing and overseeing multiple work plans.
The Program Manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring the multiple projects and project milestones are met.
This role has a direct reporting line to the PMO Director, and high interaction with cross functional project team members and business leaders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the Shelter Solutions Program Management and the supporting projects from scope definition through completion, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation Manage and coordinate multiple teams of internal and external resources to ensure that the assigned program and the associated projects adhere to scope, schedule, and multimillion dollar budgets Analyze program status and, when necessary, recommend updates to schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, providing day-to-day guidance on projects’ status and changes Drive assigned cross functional project team’s activities to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation Proactively manage and communicate any potential risk to schedule and budget and recommend mitigation plans Establish and maintain program management processes during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks Structure and manage integrated, multi-project performance databases (Smartsheet) for all assigned projects Develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders Assign and monitor resources to ensure program efficiency and maximize deliverables completion Report program outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels (Business PMO / Business leadership) and escalate issues, as necessary, according to the multiple project work plans Provide continuous reporting to the Business PMO Evaluate projects success and ensure proper projects closing activities are completed by the project team including handover deliverables Qualifications Five or more years of program management experience Experience in multiple PM methodologies Bachelor or Masters Degree Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines Proven success working with all levels of management Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent presentation skills Preferred skills and qualifications Professional certification such as PMP Experience in developing program status dashboards Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their PM abilities and skill sets Experience working with SMEs and functional leaders Proficiency with Smartsheet applications and functionality Additional information Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands? The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000 - $157,000 + 10% Bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
