The Wyndowbox Florist is seeking a talented artist to produce stunning floral creations at our high-end, high volume design center in Pearland, Texas.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating arrangements from small designs to the most spectacular pieces, that will exceed the expectations of our customers and their loved ones.
Our designs span from everyday occasions to sympathy and the most magnificent weddings and events.
Our creative and motivated Floral Designer will be required to manage resources, make creative decisions regarding flower selection, flower types and flower arrangements for both in-store and on-site events.
Our designer will work alongside our customers and event staff to help coordinate on-site events, ensuring that the flowers match the theme of each event.
*Floral Production Roles & Responsibilities:*
* Able to follow recipes and designs.
* Create unique designs that follow changing trends in color, flowers, and composition.
* Design first-class arrangements, centerpieces and decorations that successfully interpret our clients' specific tastes, requests and needs.
* Works well in a fast-paced environment.
* Is flexible to work some evenings or weekends for events or during holiday seasons.
* Is committed to being organized and clean with regards to design floor, coolers and facilities.
* Flourishes working in a team environment.
* Knowledgeable about every flower or plant sold in the store.
*Preferred Skills and Experience:*
* 3+ Years of custom floral design experience in a high-end, high volume floral shop or design studio is required.
* Artistic Ability: Understands floral pairing and color patterns.
* Strong Interpersonal Skills.
* Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
* Familiar use of Point of Sale (POS) software.
* Industry Certifications such as Certified Floral Designer (CFD), AIFD, Texas Master Florist a plus.
