*Job Description: Loader/Stocker*
*Position Overview: *We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Loader/Stocker.
In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our organization.
You will be responsible for accurately loading and unloading products, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, excellent physical stamina, and a proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Load and unload shipments of goods from trucks, ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently.
* Organize and stock products onto shelves, racks, or designated storage areas according to established guidelines.
* Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
* Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.
* Ensure that all products are appropriately labeled and placed in their designated locations.
* Assist with the rotation of stock to minimize waste and maintain product freshness.
* Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move heavy or bulky items when required (if certified).
* Collaborate with other team members to fulfill orders, restock shelves, and maintain a neat and orderly store appearance.
* Assist in cleaning and organizing the warehouse or storage area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
* Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other departments to facilitate the smooth flow of operations.
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
* Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
* Basic mathematical skills for accurate inventory tracking.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure correct product placement and order accuracy.
* Effective communication skills to work as part of a team and interact with colleagues and supervisors.
* Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and equipment is a plus.
* Forklift or pallet jack certification is a bonus.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
*Physical Requirements:*
* Regularly lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
* Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
* Operate equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
