WHAT YOU WILL DO
Bacardi Rums is launching a Retail Specialist Program.
The main responsibility of the Full-Time Retail Specialists is to build the brand among leading retail (Off-Premise) accounts.
The program will focus on cultivating account relationships, executing promotional samplings, and educating both staff and consumers.
The Retail Specialist will have the following key tasks:
Responsibilities:
• Schedule and activate KPIs within an assigned off-premise target account list
• Support sell-in and sell-through of Bacardi Rums in selected off-premise accounts
• Cultivate relationships with staff & decision-makers at accounts on the list to drive recommendation of Bacardi Rums
• Schedule and execute sampling activities to promote recommendations and grow conversion rates
• Increase awareness of Bacardi Rums through education and engagement
• Gather competitive trends and information from the market, social media, and transform this information into insights and opportunities for the brand
• Weekly report including objectives, weekly accomplishments, and surveying for the previous week
• Work with Program Manager, Commercial Planning, and Local Team to identify opportunities and adhere to the needs of the market when requested
Trade/ Consumer Responsibilities:
• Execute consumer activities in line with the Bacardi Rums plans
• Provide world class education to consumers and staff on the Rum category
• Create and foster relationships with key stakeholders Financial and Reporting Responsibilities
• Ensure the delivery of KPI’s on time and within budget
• Utilize the Reporting Tool to plan, manage and report on all activity in the field within 24 hours of activation
• Track time to effectively plan, manage and report on all activity in the field
• Provide requested materials for recaps of all events in a timely manner

WAYS TO STAND OUT IN THE CROWD
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, proactively and take initiative
• Must have an understanding and be passionate about the spirits industry, especially the rum category
• Ability to manage multiple projects and assigned budgets
• Influential and excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
You will have opportunities to display excellent verbal communication skills while also delivering impactful presentations in front of groups of people
• Skilled with time management and adhering to deadlines
• Must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends and occasional Holidays
• Previous bartending/retail/spirit industry experience is highly preferred

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this role is $70K-80K Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
