Key Responsibilities
Harness Manufacture, Assembly and Installation
* Experienced in cable manufacture given the requirements.
* Accurately assemble wiring harnesses based on schematic diagrams and assembly instructions, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
* Install wiring harnesses into final products, which may include vehicles, aircraft, or industrial equipment, paying close attention to routing, fastening, and connection requirements.
Quality Control and Testing
* Perform thorough inspections and functional tests on wiring harnesses to ensure they meet required electrical standards and safety regulations.
* Identify and rectify any defects or issues in the harnesses, such as miswiring, poor connections, or insulation damage.
Repair and Maintenance
* Diagnose and repair damaged or malfunctioning wiring harnesses, using a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment.
* Execute routine maintenance and updates to existing harness systems, ensuring their longevity and optimal performance.
*Skills and Qualifications*
* Technical diploma or certification in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a harness technician in mobile industry or or a similar tech space.
* Strong understanding of electrical principles and wiring schematics.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
* Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and manual dexterity.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
* Good communication and teamwork skills
