As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a dedicated individual to join our *Accounting Team* in order to enhance our invoicing process.
*Position in Accounting Team* *Responsibilities:* * *Invoicing Excellence:* From invoice creation to distribution, ensure accurate and timely invoicing that meets our customer requirements (e.
g.
, customer application forms, AIA billing, or specific websites).
* *Project Setup:* Upon receipt of a contract or letter of intent, set up projects in our computer/Sage system.
* *Billing Management:* Maintain customer purchase order files, handle change orders, and process credit memos as needed.
* *Financial Analysis:* Investigate old invoices, analyze accounts, and make collection calls while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
* *Journal Entries:* Enter CPA journal entries accurately.
* *Cash Handling:* Post deposits into our accounting program promptly.
* *Tax Compliance:* Keep up with sales tax reporting and maintain tax certificates.
* *Close-Out Process:* Process close-out documents, including warranties.
* *Collaboration:* Interact with other departmental personnel to ensure smooth payment, billing, and invoicing activities.
* *Payables: *Assists in department as needed, entering and matching invoices when time permits.
*Qualifications:* * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Highly motivated and organized individual.
* Ability to work independently and as a team player.
* Detail-oriented and organized.
* General accounting knowledge.
* Strong Excel skills.
* Time management skills.
* Construction industry experience is a plus.
* Degree in accounting preferred.
