is scouting for a Heavy Equipment Operator to add to our Field II team in Houston, TX Metropolitan location.
Responsibilities:
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating various pieces of heavy mobile equipment including but are not limited to:
Dozers, Motorgraders, Excavators, Backhoes, Compaction Equipment, Scrapers, and Wheel Loaders in support of safe and efficient completion of construction projects
•Loader / Forklift
•Safely operate heavy equipment to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel, and other materials
•Perform various activities including but not limited to: road building, fine grading, finishing, sloping, banking, backfilling, demolition, ditching, loading, excavating, stockpiling, road surface maintenance, building and maintaining road berms, loading trucks, and trenching
•Operate equipment proficiently and safely
•Ensure operation of equipment is within capabilities and limitations
•Perform required safety inspections and complete documentation
•Maintain a clean and safe job site
•Perform other duties as required
•Work outdoors in all weather conditions
•Follow instructions and meet set standards
Qualifications
•Excavator 345+
•Motor Grader
•Minimum of 1 year experience required
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints
•Make decisions based on verifiable standards
•Physically, Workers Must Be Able To
•See well (either naturally or with correction)
•Lift up to 75 pounds, occasionally
• Must be willing to travel in the state of Texas, Per Diem is offered for traveling 50 miles or more.
