Pomeroy is seeking an *on-site *Desktop Supportsupport technician for a 12-18 month contact-to-hire.
Candidate must be available for 8 hour shifts that may fall between the hours of 7am-7pm Mon-Fri.
*Basic Qualifications*
* 2-3+ years of Deskside Support experience
* Ticket and asset management (ServiceNow is preferred)
* Strong hardware/software installation, support, and troubleshooting
* Windows XP, 10, and 11 experience
* Experience with Active Directory, MS Office, phone security, OS365
* Requires Networking troubleshooting and support
* Configuring new PC’s/notebooks via imaging, SCCM and standalone
* Remote Install software/hardware and support
* Lift and carry up to 40lbs
*Responsibilities*
* Assists in investigating and resolving complex installations and maintenance matters of significance.
* Provides telephone, email and on-site field support to customers including installation, servicing, and repairing systems and equipment.
* Resolves customer issues in the areas of hardware and software installation, repair, upgrade, and maintenance
* Assists users in password resets and other day to day issues.
* Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of systems/equipment.
* Acts as a liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.

* Must be available during the hours of 7am-7pm Monday-Friday
* May require weekend work for Critical and High Priority support only
* May require shift work/on-call coverage
