It’s what we at TriSMART call “SMART energy for SMART people” Job Summary: The Regional Operations Manager will play a key leadership role in managing and optimizing the performance of solar projects.
This position involves overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of solar installations, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field operations professionals, including project managers, field engineers, and technicians.
Project Planning: Oversee the planning and execution of solar projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Site Assessments: Conduct site assessments to evaluate the feasibility and suitability of locations for solar installations.
Installation Oversight: Supervise the installation and commissioning of solar systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of solar installations.
Maintenance and Repairs: Develop and implement maintenance and repair protocols to optimize the long-term performance of solar assets.
Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations, conducting regular safety training and audits.
Budget Management: Collaborate with finance and project management teams to manage and optimize project budgets and expenses.
Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on project status, timelines, and performance.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement within field operations.
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business management is a plus.
Proven experience in a leadership role in solar field operations, with a track record of successful project management.
In-depth knowledge of solar technology, installation practices, and industry standards.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Understanding of safety regulations and protocols in the renewable energy industry.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
