is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of small/mid-size capital projects in the Pasadena, TX area.
Functional Requirements:
Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, including executing safety meetings.
Understanding of and previous responsibility for finances and budgeting/ profit and loss.
Plans directs and coordinates designated project activities to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time and funding Parameters.
Reviews project proposals and plans to determine the time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotments of available resources to various phases of project personnel.
Confers with project staff to outline work plans and to assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority.
Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
Review and present projects for management, clients, and staff; confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or other related degrees Preferred
At least 10 years of management experience, primarily in the petrochemical and refining industry
Google Applications (Docs, Sheets, Meet, Slides)
Commercial Cost and Scheduling Programs
Physical Involvement:
May be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.
above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.
; reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; standing / sitting; walking; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; typing / data entry
Mental Involvement:
May be required to do the following: follow set procedures and standards; follow oral/or written directions; knowledge of federal, state and company standards and regulations; ability to read and write; ability to recognize and report safety hazards etc.

Work Environment Factors:
Location: office environment; with travel and/or visit various job sites required
Mobility Barriers to Access Job Site: uneven ground level; obstructed pathwaysif asked to visit job site
Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site: predominantly indoor climate
